At BCCIS West, students experience a world-class education built on the British Columbia curriculum, enriched by Early Childhood Education and Arabic Studies. Our interdisciplinary approach empowers learners from PreK to Grade 12 to think critically, explore creatively, and grow confidently.
BCCIS West delivers the British Columbia curriculum from Canada, designed to promote creativity, inquiry-based learning, and critical thinking. Students graduate with the same qualifications as those studying in British Columbia.
High quality education!
The British Columbia Canadian School has had more almost 20 years of success in preparing students for graduation and beyond and has developed an excellent reputation throughout both Egypt and the world of international schools.
We are a fully accredited British Columbia, Canada Offshore School. Using the B.C. curriculum, our K-12 students learn to take risks, work collaboratively in groups, communicate their ideas effectively in different ways and develop inquiring minds and self-discipline.
All of our graduates attend post-secondary institutions both in Egypt and across the world.
Yes. Students at BCCIS West graduate with the Dogwood Diploma and B.C. transcripts, issued by the B.C. Ministry of Education and Child Care, just like students in Canada.

BCCIS West offers education from Pre-K to Grade 12, including Early Childhood Education (ECE), Elementary, Middle, and High School programs.
The role of a BCCIS teacher reflects the standards of any top school in British Columbia. Teachers are expected to be BC-certified (or eligible), demonstrate strong knowledge of child development, and build positive, motivating relationships with students. Key qualities include:
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for student growth and well-being
High energy and professionalism

Ongoing commitment to professional development
Teaching at BCCIS offers certified educators a chance to join a well-established, professionally supportive school. Teachers enjoy access to Canadian standards, motivated students, authentic cultural experiences, and competitive compensation, all while living in Egypt.
