Hi, My name is Nolan Cooney and I was born in Alberta, Canada. I am ecstatic to begin my new journey here in Cairo with BCCIS West. I graduated from the University of Lethbridge where I received my B.A. and B.Ed with focuses in Anthropology, History, and Kinesiology (Physical Education). Apart from teaching, my other passions include sports and adventure. These passions have developed me into the person I am today. They have taught me leadership abilities, cooperation, respect, and patience, as well as many other great values! Some of the sports I have played include ice hockey, soccer, baseball, and golf. However, my main focus was always on hockey. Also, I have had the opportunity to coach field hockey, ball hockey, and American football. Coaching has taught me organization, leadership, and communication skills, which have helped me get to the position I am in today. I also enjoy traveling, exploring, and creating new memories!
