Hi there, My name is Michelle Lampron, and I am from Vancouver Island, British Columbia. I hold a diploma in Environmental Technology, a B.Sc. in Geography, and a B.Ed. At home I work as a primary French Immersion teacher. In this role, I have focused my efforts on second language aquisition, building fluency, and on cross curricular integration of language and literacy pieces into science, humanities, and outdoor education. In my previous career I worked as an environmental scientist and park ranger. I have always considered myself a generalist with wide ranging interests from visual arts, literacy, nature, and science. In that spirit, I can't wait to teach a wide range of subjects, while creating a welcoming environment where students feel safe to learn, explore, and grow together.
